I am a long-term dog resident here at the Champaign County Humane Society!What does that mean? It means I have been available for adoption for over 90 days and am more than ready to find my forever home! In fact, the shelter is waiving my adoption fee for any approved applicant. Please stop by the shelter during open hours to visit with me! Meet Cody, the 2-year-old, neutered male Pitbull Terrier mix who is looking for a forever home at CCHS! This pooch is like a live wire, bursting with energy and ready for action! He's a big fan of playing with toys and making new human friends (especially the ones who carry treats). Cody likes to keep his prized possessions safe and sound, so he prefers to be the only dog in the house. But don't worry, he's got enough love to go around! Cody is a Cancer sun, a Gryffindor (Quidditch team, Seeker), and in D&D he plays a Rogue Dwarf. While a terrific athlete, Cody also identifies as a nerd. This pup isn't afraid to show his full enthusiasm for anything and everything! He has plenty of energy to try it all and love every second. Cody would thrive in an active household with plenty of outdoor time and room to play. Whether you need a jogging buddy or a BFF always wagging his tail, Cody is the pup for you! He loves to play and enjoys games by himself and with friends. As long as he has food to eat, toys to play with, and people to take him for walks, give him treats, and tell him what a handsome lad he is, Cody feels like a king.
