I got her from someone selling her at a dog park. Hazel was abused by the previous owner and when I got her, she was malnourished, super skinny and very, very scared. Over the years, she has learned to trust and is striving! She is a huge cuddler and will make sure your bed is nice and warm when you get back from work. She is a very loyal and super affectionate, energetic girl BUT she will never turn down a good nap. Hazel is leash trained, and house broken. I am not sure how she will do in a crate because she is usually out and about in the house because she does not get into trouble. Hazel is an indoor dog and will not like it if you keep her outside. She is the biggest cuddler you will ever meet and will love you forever. She loves people, kids, other dogs and it is unknown about cats. Even though she is 60 lbs., she will try and sit on your lap as if she were the size of a chihuahua. When going on a car ride, she will be your plus one and sit perfectly in the passenger seat. She is great company in the car. Hazel is one of three dogs that I have rescued from various conditions. I would love to keep her but unfortunately, I work 2 jobs and go to school full time. The people I live with do not want the dogs around and I currently cannot get another place for me and my babies. They are amazing dogs, and it hurts me so much to find new homes for them. Hazel is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. Hazel would love to be adopted with either/or both of her current housemates - Jahseh and Gus, but it is not a requirement.Adoption processThank you for your interest in one of our rescue dogs or cats.
