Rosie is a cute 2-year old female Dilute Tortoiseshell kitty who was surrendered by her family on March 8, 2024 along with her sister (Strawberry) because of housing issues. Rosie has a gray-and-beige short smooth coat in a dilute tortoiseshell pattern, a long ringed tail, and an adorable face with green/gold eyes, a splash of white on her muzzle, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers. Her family told us that Rosie is good with children, other cats, and dogs. She has been kept indoors and is litter-box trained. Rosie was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on March 9, 2024. She weighed 8.3 lbs that day. Rosie appeared to have an affectionate, very shy, personality and preferred to seek comfort beneath her blankets when we stopped by to take her glamour photos the day she arrived (perhaps because she was very frightened being away from her normal home environment and being alone in a small shelter cage). Her sister Strawberry was adopted quickly, so Rosie must surely be lonely without her soulmate. Rosie has already been spayed and is ready to find another loving home either through adoption or rescue. Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (XXXX@suddenlink.net).
